We are often asked what is the difference between General English and Academic English.  General English is for the everyday use of English in social interactions.  Academic English is a more formal use of English and there is more emphasis on grammar, structures and style.  It is for people who want to study post-secondary education after they finish their high school.   Because of this, ILI offers a wide variety of levels and programs to suit your learning needs. From full-time to part-time to one-on-one, we have numerous options to fit your objectives, your schedule and your life.

ILI is a Designated Learning Institution under the new Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) regulations. This designation qualifies ILI to issue Letters of Acceptance (LoA) to international students for long-term study in Canada.
