If you are a non-native speaker of English who intends to study or train in English, IELTS is designed to assess your English language proficiency. It is offered two versions of the test: Academic or General Training.

The Academic test is required by Canadian universities for candidates planning to apply for admission to a degree program. The General Training test is suitable for candidates planning to apply for Canadian immigration, apply for work experience, or undertake non-academic training.

The International Language Institute is now an IELTS test venue.
